SARATOGA, Wyo. (AP) – Radio, television and cable industry leader Peter Francis Storer has died. He was 81.

Elizabeth Storer said Tuesday that her father died Sunday at his home in Saratoga.

Peter Storer was CEO of Storer Communications, an MSO with cable franchises in more than 500 communities in 18 states.

A family obituary says Storer followed his father, George Storer, into the industry and became CEO of Storer Broadcasting following his father's death in 1975. Storer guided the company until it was bought out in 1986.

His survivors include two brothers and four children. A memorial service will be held Saturday at the Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga.
