Arris’ CPE segment retained its momentum in cable-related products in the quarter. Sprint announced an agreement with Boingo Wireless that will give Sprint customers access to Boingo’s Passpoint Wi-Fi networks in 35 U.S. airports. Sprint phones should automatically connect and authenticate on Boingo’s Wi-Fi when in range.

Time Warner Cable has added live TV channels to its TWC TV app running on Microsoft’s Xbox One console. TWC began offering the app on the Xbox One last month, starting with on-demand content.
