LiquidxStream Systems has added former Cox executive Chris Bowick to its board of directors. Bowick, who retired this summer, was senior vice president of engineering and CTO at Cox.
“I am excited about the solutions that LiquidxStream has created for the cable industry,” Bowick said. “Managing the rollout of advanced digital services quickly and cost-effectively requires a whole new approach to edge QAMs, and LiquidxStream’s LxS-3616 leads the industry in that direction.”
The LxS-3616 UEQ supports 576 QAMs per chassis and 36 QAMs per port, enabling operators to cost-effectively accommodate rapid service growth while lowering the total cost of ownership.
Prior to joining Cox, Bowick was group vice president of technology and CTO at Jones Intercable, while simultaneously serving as president of Jones Futurex. He has also held positions with Scientific Atlanta and Rockwell International.
