BigBand Networks will be showing off its Converged Video Exchange (CVEx) platform at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo later this month, as well as the latest enhancements to its switched digital video platform.

CVEx is BigBand Networks’ control plane offering that helps service providers converge their networks for video delivery. BigBand will also be demonstrating its vIP Pass, which is a video routing platform, in Denver.

BigBand will also highlight new enhancements to its edge QAM lineup in the Mile-High City, while several BigBand  executives will be speaking at Expo workshops and sessions.

BigBand is also gearing up for the Supercomm conference in Chicago and the Digital Hollywood Fall Summit in Santa Monica, Calif., with both events slated for next week.

John Holobinko, BigBand’s vice president of marketing, will share his expertise on ubiquitous content delivery and its impact on IPTV offerings on the panel “Consolidating Content in an IPTV World” on Oct. 22 at the ATIS Technology Conference at Supercomm.

Yaron Raz, director of video solutions marketing for BigBand, will participate in a panel discussion about the changing TV viewing experience on the session “Television and Broadband: Technology and Content that Bridge the Digital Consumer Experience” on Oct. 21 at the Digital Hollywood Fall Summit.
