• Bright House taps Maki as VP

Bright House Networks has named Kimberly Maki its new vice president of corporate communications. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing internal and external communications for all of Bright House’s products and services, including new product development; structuring corporate-wide strategy; growing community relations programs; and leading marketing communications efforts.

Maki has more than 20 years of communications and marketing experience. Prior to joining Bright House, she served as executive director of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).

Previously, she held the position of vice president of marketing, membership and business development for the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers. Prior to that, Maki held senior public affairs positions with Time Warner Cable’s Houston Division and worked for Vision Cable Communications’ corporate office and the Michigan Cable Television Association.
