AT&T’s U-verse services – U-verse TV, U-verse high-speed Internet and U-verse Voice – are now available in parts of Baton Rouge, La.
“Cable has been the only game in town for too long, and we’re excited to change that today in Baton Rouge,” said Bonnie Denson, AT&T’s general manager of consumer markets for the Gulf States. “And we’ll continue to make U-verse TV even better for customers with regular upgrades and new cool features you can’t get anywhere else.”
AT&T’s U-verse TV service offers Total Home DVR; more than 110 HD channels; the ability to program DVR recordings from your Web-connected mobile phone or PC; AT&T U-bar; and the ability to view personal photos on your TV that you have uploaded to Flickr.com.
And U-verse high-speed Internet boasts downstream speeds of up to 18 Mbps. All AT&T U-verse Internet packages include wireless home or office networking at no extra cost and access to AT&T’s more than 20,000 Wi-Fi hotspot locations.
Last month, AT&T launched its triple-play services in parts of Memphis, Tenn.
