Verizon has tuned up two new features for its FiOS TV subscribers: FiOS Media Manger gives users PC-to-TV features, while the second feature lets DVR subscribers use Internet-enabled cell phones to manage their DVR programming.

FiOS Media Manager will allow subscribers to play on their big-screen entertainment systems personal videos, photos and music that is stored on a computer.

With the remote DVR feature, users can review, change or add recording requests; delete recorded programs; browse and search TV and VOD listings; and set parental controls by using their cell phones.

Previously available only to FiOS TV Home Media DVR users, the two advanced features now are available at no additional charge to all FiOS TV DVR users who also subscribe to FiOS Internet.
