• Qwest names Taylor COO

Qwest Communications has named Teresa Taylor chief operating officer. Taylor replaces Thomas Richards, who has served as the company’s chief operating officer since July 2008 and is leaving the company to become president and chief operating officer of CDW Corp.
Taylor previously led the company’s Business Markets, Wholesale and Product groups.
She served as executive vice president of the Business Markets Group (BMG) since August 2008. Taylor also served as Qwest’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer from 2004 to 2008.
Christopher Ancell, previously vice president of sales for BMG, has been promoted to executive vice president of BMG, replacing Taylor.
