Windjammer Communications will be provisioning its triple-play customers through a multi-year agreement with OSS and network services vendor Integrated Broadband Services (IBBS).
Through the agreement, IBBS will bring customer support and triple-play services to the more than 80,000 residential and business customers that Windjammer bought from Time Warner last year.
Windjammer will use IBBS’ Broadband Explorer (BBX) Provisioning and Diagnostics Software Suite, which provides the means to address and resolve customer issues, reduce truck rolls, call handle time and mean-time-to-repair, as well as drive higher levels of organizational performance.
“We selected IBBS because of the high quality and performance of the software, services and support,” said Windjammer CEO Tim Evard. “The dramatic growth we have recently experienced requires scalability and reliability, and IBBS has proven that their innovative, fully integrated software and services can more than satisfy our customer base.”
In addition, Windjammer also signed on for IBBS’s commercial services offering, which ensures that enterprise customers receive the same high-speed digital voice and data support as individual consumers.
IBBS announced its commercial services product today at The Independent Show. IBBS’ commercial services product will be available next month.
Operators and broadband service providers that deploy IBBS’ commercial services will have access to business-class support including premium levels of network monitoring and customer care. IBBS said they will also be able to sell a full suite of integrated business offerings including hosted, value-added applications, such as e-mail, and collaboration with mobile synch, file storage and backup, managed firewall and VPN, and digital voice.
