SinglePipe adopts a new image

SinglePipe has revamped its Web site and debuted a new logo at The Independent Show.

Hitching itself to the “cloud computing” concept, the new logo was designed to be suggestive of a cloud. The company also has adopted a new tagline, “Connect to what’s next,” to signal the company’s intention to advance communications through technologies and partnerships.

“While we’ve made a change to our logo and our Web site and recently made additions to our management team, one thing remains the same – our commitment to delivering superior and reliable digital telephone services with a first-rate customer experience,” said Cynthia Carpenter, president and chief operating officer for SinglePipe.

Carpenter was referring to her own appointment as president and COO in July, and Jeff Carr’s appointment as CEO. Carr took over for Matt Phillips, who shifted from CEO to vice chairman of corporate development. Carpenter was founder and president of Wheelhouse Strategies, a strategic marketing consultancy targeting venture-backed start-up technology companies.

In April, SinglePipe picked up $5.1 million in equity funding, led by existing investor Chrysalis Ventures, joined by Meritus Ventures and the Kentucky Science and Technology Corp.
