Arris and SageQuest have expanded integration between their respective technologies to come up with an improved vehicle and workforce management platform for telecommunications service providers.
The latest integration combines Arris’ WorkAssure work order data offering with real-time vehicle location data from SageQuest’s Mobile Control in order to help customers improve the productivity of their mobile workforce.
Arris and SageQuest said the newest improvements were based on feedback from shared customers who used the first integrated offering when it was introduced in 2006.
SageQuest provides GPS-based vehicle tracking and management, while Arris specializes in the design and engineering of broadband networks to deliver work order data.
At the heart of the improved integration is SageQuest’s ability to utilize two-way data flow to connect work orders to both real-time and historical vehicle activity.
In addition to improved mapping that displays real-time vehicle location, along with current work order status from WorkAssure, customers now have access to expanded reporting capabilities that focus in on performance metrics across their workforce and quickly identify best practices and opportunities to improve efficiency and customer service.
