This Technology and Sigma Systems are partnering to provide a sophisticated addressable advertising management system that combines the former’s dynamic metadata and advanced advertising supply management software for digital television and the latter’s Advanced IP Service Fulfillment solutions.

The combination is designed to enable simplified management of digital content, ad inventory and audience qualification.

The Ad Information Services Suite gives operators and their content partners visibility of the ad content available, ad-insertion options, subscriber data for targeting and the home equipment being used. As a result, they are empowered to maximize associated revenue and tailor the advertising experience to specific demographics to ensure a premium subscriber experience.

The Ad Information Services Suite includes This Technology’s MetaMore and SpotBuilder Content Information Service (CIS) and Placement Opportunity Information Service (POIS) solutions for content and advertising supply management and Sigma Systems’ Subscriber Information Service (SIS) for audience qualification.

The suite is SCTE 130-compliant, allowing operators and networks to combine it with other advertising solutions.

“This Technology and Sigma Systems are forging a new path with the industry’s first solution that combines all information services to enable any operator to roll out advanced advertising,” said Jeffrey Sherwin, founder of This Technology. “Now, regardless of the campaign management, traffic and billing, or ad-insertion system already deployed, content providers and operators have the flexibility to easily keep their data close and options open for simplified information management.”
