The deal does not have a value yet, although Saban has valued it at $6 billion. Fox Family will let the bankers it hired calculate a valuation.
SBC pays hefty fine

Companies that compete with SBC in the Midwest have run into the same problems with long waits for phone lines and repairs that have plagued consumers.
3Com beats the street, plans spin-off

Excluding one-time costs, 3Com announced a second-quarter loss of $52.4 million, or 15 cents a share, on revenue of $789.5 million. The revenue includes $22.8 million the company earned from businesses it recently exited.
