Trilithic is partnering with Wireless Matrix to offer combined GPS fleet management and radio frequency (RF) leakage detection products for the cable industry.

The two companies have integrated Wireless Matrix’s GPS-based FleetOutlook vehicle tracking technology with Trilithic’s Seeker series of leakage detection devices. The combined offering will allow operators to not only track vehicles, but also to precisely map leak data in service areas traversed by fleet vehicles.

Jim Harris, VP of marketing at Trilithic, said, “The added level of functionality allows fleet operations data to be easily shared, opening the door to increased productivity without added complexity.”

Through the partnership, cable service providers will be able to track their mobile assets, coordinate technicians and monitor RF leakage repair status using an integrated platform of tools.

The integration is already at work for cable companies such as Time Warner Cable that are served by both companies, Trilithic said.
