BlackArrow has added Motorola to its quiver with the announcement that the two have completed integration of the former’s advertising system and the latter’s B-1 on-demand server.

BlackArrow previously announced having integrated its system with Akamai and Arris Interactive (story here).

BlackArrow has a real-time ad decision server (ADS), which is set up to select targeted ads for dynamic insertion before, after and during on-demand content playback.

BlackArrow and Motorola integrated the former’s ADS with the latter’s B-1 on-demand video server for video-on-demand (VOD), time-shifted TV and network-based digital video recorder (nDVR) devices.

One of the server’s key features is the ability to create ranged playlists that enable it to dynamically insert targeted ads at any point in on-demand content.

The combined system is SCTE 130-compliant.
