Amino Communications said today that LTS Community Networks, LLC (LTS), a systems integration company under the Ledcor Group of companies, has picked Amino’s AmiNET530 set-top boxes to deliver an HD DVR IPTV service to its customers in Bandon, Oregon.

As a result of the deal, Amino said LTS is the first to deploy the AmiNET530 IPTV set-top boxes to homes in North America through its local service provider ComSpan Communications.

Under the terms of the deal, LTS, a triple play provider for businesses customers in mid to small rural communities across North America, offers Amino’s AmiNET530 set-top box to its customers seeking premium and value-added IPTV services. LTS now has a complement of HD H.264 set-top boxes after deploying Amino’s AmiNET130.

LTS, a telecom service provider, specializes in network development, system architecture, installation, technical support and maintenance services in the North American telecommunication, utility and industrial industries.

“Amino and LTS share the same vision of providing customers with the most advanced IPTV services available on the market today – it’s a great match,” said Roy Kirsopp, VP and General Manager of Amino. “As LTS continues to grow, working with more companies across North America, we know the partnership will enable us to broaden the reach of our solutions to areas that have not yet experienced the power of HD DVR, IPTV services.”

Amino Communications also announced today that Lumexis Corporation, a provider of an airline entertainment system, has licensed Amino’s AmiNET130M technology to deliver digital HD IPTV to airline passengers. Lumexis will use Amino’s hardware and software technology for its customer, a top global airline, to replace current entertainment systems.
