AT&T tops 100,000 U-verse TV subs in Houston

AT&T’s U-verse TV service now reaches more than 100,000 customers in the Houston area.

U-verse services were first introduced in the Houston area in November 2006. AT&T is continually expanding availability to more Houston-area residents, but today the vide service is offered throughout the Houston region, including in parts of Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris and Montgomery counties.

Texas was the first state where AT&T U-verse services were deployed. At the end of its second quarter 2008, AT&T had 549,000 total U-verse customers (story here).
