Arris has created a global sales group for its on demand and service assurance platforms, which will be headed by newly-promoted senior vice president John Boland.

Boland will report to Arris Worldwide sales president Ron Coppock. Boland has nearly 30 years of broadcasting and cable experience, including senior management roles at C-Cor, nCUBE, SkyConnect and Texscan. Reporting to Boland will be Bill Leslie, vice president of Service Assurance Sales and Tony Ahillas, vice president of WorkForce Management Sales.

“With major on demand and OSS installations around the globe, Arris is seeking to extend its world class solutions into new and developing markets,” said Ron Coppock. “John Boland and his team will lead our efforts to further solidify our unique positioning at the forefront of the VOD, dynamic advertising, content management and delivery, and network and workforce management markets.”
