The TM Forum said yesterday that it has launched a new market research initiative, called TM Forum Insights, for information, communications and entertainment providers.
TM Forum Insights is led by industry veteran Rob Rich, who has more than 15 years of experience in market research management and consulting roles.
Joining Rich are former Yankee Group VP Paul Hughes and former IDC/Stratecast analyst Shira Levine. TM Forum Insights’ research agenda spans services and strategies, service delivery, service assurance through to revenue management, and customer experience.
According to Telephony Online, the TM Forum also recently provided more details on its agreement to combine work on IP and back office specifications with the IPsphere Forum. Earlier this month, the IPsphere Forum agreed to roll its specification, field trials and case work into the TM Forum.
