Mixed Signals to demo Sentry at IBC2008
At IBC2008, Mixed Signals is set to demonstrate how its Sentry digital content monitoring solution allows service providers to ensure that their video subscribers have an optimal viewing experience.
Sentry, which has seen deployments with seven of the top 10 U.S. cable operators, enables video service providers to diagnose and fix service-affecting issues anywhere within the core of their networks, the company said.
Sentry can resolve a wide range of video and audio errors that can affect quality of experience (QoE). Video errors that it can fix include a black screen, a frozen screen and pixilation, and audio errors that it can fix include a dropped left or right channel and no audio whatsoever.
“With more competitors entering the video market every day, video service providers must deliver the best possible quality of experience – free from annoying video and audio glitches – if they are to keep their subscribers,” said Eric Conley, CEO of Mixed Signals. “We have developed our Sentry solution specifically to address this urgent need, providing service providers with unparalleled insight into their networks and their programming to solve even the most complex of issues.”
