Northland Cable Television picks SinglePipe for digital phone service
SinglePipe Communications and Northland Cable Television today announced that SinglePipe will serve as the managed voice service provider for Northland’s residential and business digital phone customers in selected markets.
"We were impressed with SinglePipe’s service reliability, and with the quality of their current network, customer service and ability to execute,” said Jack Dyste, SVP of Northland Cable Television.
SinglePipe said that its managed service platform is a turnkey digital voice product that includes a range of packages for both residential and small- to medium-size businesses (SMBs), including regulatory compliance, FCC-compliant 911, local number portability, complete back office integration, and Tier 2 and 3 support.
SinglePipe’s offering includes its SinglePipe Integrated Provisioning System (SIPS), which gives the company the ability to integrate its Web-based back office solution with Northland’s, and other cable operators’, current systems.
SinglePipe also announced that Jeffery Carr was hired as the company’s COO. In this role, Carr will direct the company’s CLEC operations, network operations, OSS and IT systems, customer support and product development.
Prior to SinglePipe, Carr served as COO and co-founder of ISP Zoomtown, a subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell.
