Knology shuffles, promotes execs
Knology has appointed Rodger Johnson, the company’s president and CEO, to chairman of the board. Johnson will retain his responsibilities as CEO.
The Company also named Todd Holt, currently Knology’s CFO, to the position of president, and Bret McCants, currently Knology’s senior vice president of operations, to executive vice president of operations.
Holt will also have responsibility for the company’s human resources, legal, regulatory and billing organizations. McCants’ responsibilities will include all of Knology’s field operations, as well as its network, marketing, IT and call center functions.
Bruce Herman, currently Knology’s vice president of strategy and development, will assume the position of CFO and will report to Holt. Herman joined Knology following the acquisition of PrairieWave Communications, where he served for several years as president and CEO, and as CFO.
And Cam Lanier, the company’s current chairman of the board, will continue his involvement with Knology as its lead director.
Knology, headquartered in West Point, Ga., is a provider of interactive communications and entertainment services in the Southeast and in the South Dakota region. Knology offers both residential and business customers more than 200 channels of digital cable TV, local and long-distance digital telephone service, and high-speed Internet access.
