LiquidxStream Systems and Camiant have completed interoperability testing between LiquidxStream's LxS-3216 Universal EdgeQAM and Camiant’s Universal Edge Resource Manager (UERM).

“Together, LiquidxStream and Camiant make it possible for operators to recover highly valued bandwidth and deliver dynamic QAM sharing across services for exceptional efficiency,” said Randy Fuller, VP of business development for Camiant.

The LxS-3216, with 512 QAMs per chassis and 32 QAM channels per RF port, is designed to help operators take advantage of QAM sharing between services such as switched digital video (SDV), video-on-demand (VOD) and cable modem termination system (CMTS).

Both products will be on display in their respective booths at the Cable-Tec Expo this week in Philadelphia.
