By Brian Santo
RGB Networks’ Modular Video Processor (MVP) has won a NXTcomm Eos Award, in the Content Delivery and Management category.
The MVP is a complete IPTV solution, combining RGB’s video processing capabilities with a chassis to enable telecom carriers to offer a full range of digital video services, including HDTV. The MVP has been designed specifically for telecom carriers, combining support for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/H.264 advanced processing, switching and ad insertion in a chassis.
“Winning a NXTcomm Eos Award confirms that the industry recognizes the value that the MVP brings to telco IPTV deployments,” said Ramin Farassat, VP of product marketing for RGB Networks. “We consulted closely with several large telecom carriers in developing the MVP to ensure it meets their critical requirements, and this award is a testament that we’ve designed the MVP with everything telcos need to deliver advanced IPTV services.”
