Charter Communications has let go of several executives, including VP and Video Services GM Cathy Fogler and VP of Web Services Jeff Jay, as the company realigns several field offices.

Fogler joined Charter as VP of video product management in August 2006 with overall responsibility for the video product strategy, including digital video, high-definition television (HDTV), digital video recorders (DVRs), pay-per-view (PPV) and video-on-demand VOD. Her responsibilities also included determining the long-range video product roadmap and meeting overall profit goals for Charter’s video product lines.

In December 2006, Charter CMO Bob Quigley appointed Fogler to the position of VP and GM of video. In this role, she was responsible for defining and delivering video programming content across all video platforms.

Fogler has nearly a decade of experience in the cable industry, most recently as VP of video product management for Adelphia Communications.

In October, Fogler was appointed to the Women in Cable Telecommunications’ (WICT) board of directors.
