The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is seeking proposals for topics related to education, learning and development, as well as human performance improvement, to be presented at its 2008 Conference on Broadband Learning & Development (CBL&D), set for June 24 in Philadelphia.
Proposals addressing the topics described in the Call for Papers (available here) – especially those affecting today’s learning and development challenges relating specifically to the cable telecommunications industry – will be given priority.
Preferred topics include mobile learning (M-Learning), training the mobile workforce, trainer development, and training manager and operations partnerships.
The deadline is Feb. 8, and proposals should be sent via e-mail to cbld_info@scte.org. Questions can be addressed to Glenda Calcaterra at (610) 524-1725 ext. 234.
