The service, called HBO on Broadband, is set to launch tomorrow in TWC’s Milwaukee and Green Bay markets.
In order to use the test service, which so far is available at no additional cost, subscribers must be on TWC’s digital tier, subscribe to HBO and use the MSO’s high-speed Internet service.
The content from HBO will include 400 hours of movies and original programming, including 130 movies that will rotate monthly, as well as shows such as “Sex in the City” and “The Sopranos.”
The service could make customers more loyal to both HBO and TWC since their content will be able to follow them on their PCs.
