The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) has announced the results of the SCTE Board of Directors Election for 2007:

* Director-At-Large: Thomas J. Gorman of Charter Communications, representing all SCTE members

* Director-At-Large: Patrick O’Hare of Comcast Corp., representing all SCTE members

* Region 1: Bob Weaver of Cox Communications, representing California, Hawaii and Nevada

* Region 2: Frank Eichenlaub of Scientific Atlanta, representing Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming

* Region 6: Alex Balander of Charter Communications, representing Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin

* Region 9: Ken Williams of Cox Communications, representing Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Puerto Rico

* Region 11: Gregory D. Allshouse of Comcast Corp., representing Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania

The newly-elected directors will begin their two-year terms at the SCTE Board of Directors meeting on June 19 at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo, the SCTE said.
