Women in cable, telecom recognized for excellence
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT RM) will honor the achievements of eight industry leaders at the organization’s eighth annual Walk of Fame Gala.
The honors are divided into five categories: Woman of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Partner of the Industry, Woman in Technology and Woman to Watch.
This year’s Woman in Technology is Leslie Ellis, independent analyst, columnist and author (and contributor to CED magazine).
Woman of the Year will be awarded to both Judi Allen, president of ALLENStrategies Inc., and Cathy Fogler, VP of video programming and product management for Charter Communications. The Mentor of the Year award will go to Brad Dusto, president of Comcast’s west division.
Partner of the Year will be awarded to Cindy Bennett, president of Organic People. The Woman to Watch award will go to Brenda Price, senior director of marketing for Time Warner Cable; Corrina Ruttkar, VP of customer strategies with CSG Systems Inc.; and Vernise York, Comcast’s digital voice operations manager.The event will be held on May 2 at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center in Denver.
