Active Broadband Networks and Camiant have partnered up to deliver adaptive resource management solutions to broadband networks.

Camiant, a provider of policy control solutions, said its platform allows service providers to differentiate services such as SIP-based telephony, video communications, streaming media, games and commercial services. The solution also enables providers to deploy non-IMS to fully-compliant IMS applications.

Active Broadband Networks develops subscriber service management and demand planning systems. By utilizing the Active Resource Manager, Camiant's policy control platform gains additional access to network, service and device information that can be used to control access network resources, Camiant said.

"This partnership provides operators with visibility and control to effectively manage the combined demands of tiered services and advanced PacketCable Multimedia services," said Adam Dunstan, president and CEO of Active Broadband Networks, in a statement.
