Jones/NCTI to be recognized for call support tools

Jones/NCTI, the largest provider of corporate training products, professional services, and education for the broadband and cable industry, will receive a 2006 Superior Training Achievement Recognition (STAR) award from the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) for its LogiCALL Decision Tools.

LogiCALL was created by Jones/NCTI as an electronic performance support tool to guide customer service agents through the decision-making process. It uses decision tree methodology and is accessed through an agent's desktop, prompting agents to follow a series of questions and answers with customers.

The award, in the external consultants category, will be bestowed at a celebration dinner Dec. 6 in Denver. STAR awards are given each year in only five categories.
