tComLabs of Belgium has changed its name to Excentis, which stands for Excellence in Telecom and ICT Services.

The company said it made the change to reflect its growing range of services. tComLabs kicked off in 2000 as a test lab for Euro-DOCSIS certifications and qualifications (and later for Euro-PacketCable), but has since added training and consulting to the mix, and, in 2006, launched a test and measurement product called "ByteBlower." 

"The change of our name is inspired by the expansion of our services portfolio for the telecom and ICT industry," said Excentis CEO Luc Martens.
