Click! Network is deploying EGT's Quartet and Encore systems for MPEG-2 encoding in its new digital simulcast architecture. Quartet is optimized for digital simulcast, IPTV and local channel encoding. Encore is a video processor built on EGT's DSP-based platform. Click! * James Cable deploys ParaSun's OSS
James Cable has adopted ParaSun Technologies' operations support system (OSS4) broadband provisioning software and ISP Services. James Cable said it chose the ParaSun platform because it would support the company as it moved into new services such as VoIP. David Moore, Director of Technology for James Cable, said, "The fact that the ParaSun OSS4 can integrate with third-party vendors, such as billing providers and VoIP partners, made the decision to select their OSS4 software and support solutions an easy one."

* Portuguese ISP deploys PerfTech messaging
TV Cabo has deployed PerfTech's Bulletin System technology, which it will use to send targeted, rich-media promotional and informational messages directly to the PC screens of its Internet subscribers. TV Cabo has deployed two elements of PerfTech's technology: Promo Bulletin, which displays online marketing promotions of the operator's services, and Subscriber Care Bulletin, which enhances customer service operations with timely, relevant messages.
