Three vendors have integrated their respective products in the hopes of creating a secure platform for IP-based video services.

Targeted to independent telephone companies and other service providers, the pre-integrated platform features BitBand's "Vision" video servers and Maestro management platform, a software-centric conditional access system from Latens, and middleware from Minerva Networks.

The companies hope the combination will enable telco customers to get to market quickly with IPTV services.

"The combined technological expertise and accumulated field experience brought to this partnership ensures fast time to market and minimized risk to IP service providers deploying the most innovative IPTV services," said BitBand EVP of Sales & Marketing Yuval Sovinsky.

The companies did not announce any operator deals for the pre-integrated platform, which they are showing off this week in San Francisco at the ZhoneTech conference.
