The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers has awarded promotions to Kimberly Maki, Robin Fenton and Derek DiGiacomo.
Maki has been elevated from VP of marketing & business development to VP of marketing, membership and business development. In her new role, Maki will also oversee membership acquisition, retention and services, and will head up the SCTE Membership Department staff. With the promotion, Maki will also serve as a Society staff liaison with the SCTE Membership Committee. She joined SCTE in August 2003.
Fenton has been promoted from manager of standards operations to director of chapter support. In that role, she will transition out of the standards department into chapter support and head up all grassroots chapter support. Fenton will also serve as staff liaison with the SCTE Operations Committee.
DiGiacomo has been bumped up to director of information technology and network operations. DiGiacomo, previously the manager of information technology and network operations, will spearhead the installation of ClearVantage, SCTE's new association management system, and will head up software and hardware and disaster recovery planning for the Society.
