Sigma Systems has completed an integration that matches its OSS platform for digital video with the Nagravision conditional access (CA) system.

The agreement "is a key building block" for Sigma's extension into the European market, noted Mark Pearson, Sigma Systems' VP of customer operations - EMEA.

The integration will enable Sigma's Digital Video Service Package platform to automate business/operational elements for digital video services such as subscriber adds, removals and suspensions, record purges and credit management. On the latter, the combination will also enable support for pay-per-view, impulse PPV and pre-paid credit.
