Cogeco Cable launched its Digital Phone service in Georgetown, Ont. The company is involved in a year-long roll-out of the service. Cogeco Cable currently has 35 percent of the homes passed in its operating territories in Ontario and Quebec.

Cogeco Cable's Digital Phone service package includes unlimited calling - routed on Cogeco's private network - in Canada and the continental United States, the five most popular calling features (voice mail, call display, call waiting, visual call waiting and call forwarding), as well as basic operator assistance and information services.

Georgetown residents, along with those of areas already served in Ontario, can now take advantage of this offer for as little as $44.99 per month if they subscribe to Cogeco Cable's high-speed data and cable television service. The company is making a promotional offer of $10 off monthly bills for one year.
