Charter Communications has launched a Spanish-language Web site for its broadband customers.

The new site will enable Spanish-speaking customers to research and purchase Charter products, check for area service availability and contact Spanish-speaking Charter service representatives.

Charter created the site in partnership with Xcelente!, a Denver-based Hispanic marketing & advertising agency.

"About half of U.S. Hispanic Internet users prefer to speak Spanish, or a mix of Spanish and English, so it's imperative that we provide our customers with Spanish-language content," said Charter Corporate Vice President of Sales Channels Jeff Cox.
