The deal marks an extended relationship between CMA and ParaSun, a provider of turn-key data and voice services. CMA and ParaSun have collaborated on high-speed data services for about four years.
CMA owns and operates more than 40 cable systems in parts of Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Nevada. It expects to launch VoIP next month to customers in Bella Chasse, La., and follow in other markets throughout 2006.
ParaSun, maker of the CableRocket provisioning system, said it has integrated its technical support services with Net2Phone, CMA's third-party VoIP partner.
