Comcast Corp. shed some light on a new management structure that will take hold after it and Time Warner Cable assimilate Adelphia Communications.
Among the moves, Kevin Casey has been elevated to president of the newly-formed New England Division, which will be comprised of existing Comcast, Adelphia and Time Warner systems in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Western Pennsylvania and Maine. That division will serve about 3.5 million customers.
Michael Doyle, meanwhile, will serve as president of the expanded Eastern Division, which will serve 5.3 million subs and include existing Comcast, Adelphia and Time Warner properties in metro Philadelphia and central Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and New Jersey. Comcast's CN8 network will continue to report to Doyle.
Comcast recently promoted William Connors to president of the Midwest Division, which includes systems in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Minnesota, and serves 4.1 million subs.
John Ridall is the president of the Southern Division, covering Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi and South Carolina.
Brad Dusto is president of the Western Division, which includes Comcast systems in Colorado, Oregon, Washington, California, New Mexico, and Utah, as well as Adelphia and Time Warner Cable properties in Colorado, Oregon and the California Bay Area.
David Watson, Comcast's EVP of operations, will head up Comcast's five operating divisions.
