• Juniper Group installs Cox deal
Juniper Group Inc. said it has scored an installation and integration deal with the "nation's third largest cable operator" (read: Cox Communications) in Hampton Roads, Va.

Under the deal, Juniper will handle installation and integration for bundled video and data services in the region. Financial terms were not disclosed.

• Cisco dials up big VoIP numbers
Cisco Systems said it has sold more than 6 million VoIP phones. Westpac of Australia received the milestone IP phone.

Buoyed by IP PBX installations, Cisco noted that it has sold more than 300,000 IP phones in Australia alone.
