ICTV is on a roll in its deployment with Texas-based MSO Grande Communications, announcing it will expand its next-generation interactive television service in four new cities.

Grande has already rolled out ICTV's HeadendWare interactive TV platform in Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos, and now it is adding Corpus Christi, Midland, Odessa and Waco to the list. The service includes a lineup of programs, news, sports, weather and information, as well as video classified ads and on-demand content.

Even as they are adding the new markets, ICTV and Grande are also expanding the subscription service with new channels, including Sesame Workshop's "Sesame Street Games;" "On The Farm" from Flying Rhinoceros; and "ToonGolf" from TournamentOne, as well as KaraokeTV and LuckyGolfer from TournamentOne for older gamers. In addition the TvHead Games Channel, which was available to all subscribers, will expand to include a subscription channel version offering premium games and services.

"We've learned from our rollouts in Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos the great value of offering the best interactive TV available to serve our customers," said Scott Ferguson, interim CEO of Grande. "ICTV delivers a package that includes a suite of attractive content from some of the biggest brands in interactive television helping us deliver new, quality products to our customers."
