SCTE lines up opening session brass

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) will host a spate of operations and technology leaders at the opening session of the 2005 Cable-Tec Expo, set for June 14–17 in San Antonio.

The CEO panel (June 14 at 9 a.m.) will feature Time Warner Cable Chairman & CEO Glenn Britt; Cisco Systems President & CEO John Chambers (via satellite); and ARRIS Chairman & CEO Robert Stanzione.

The technology panel which follows will include Mike Hayashi, SVP of advanced engineering & subscriber technology, Time Warner Cable; Dr. Richard Prodan, VP and President and CTO, Broadband Communications, Broadcom Corp.; Tony Werner, SVP and CTO, Liberty Media; and Paul Woidke, VP, technology, Comcast Spotlight.
