Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, has inked a multi-year deal to extend the use of AdVision, OpenTV Corp. 's ad and sales traffic and billing system.
Comcast Spotlight currently uses the system in Dallas, Boston, Hartford, Providence and Springfield (Mass.). AdVision monitors the available advertising inventory of local systems, facilitates ad traffic, and handles scheduling and billing. Comcast also plans to use a new version of AdVision that improves core traffic and billing functions, inventory and yield management and media sales management.
Comcast Spotlight does work in more than 70 markets, including 22 of the top 25 DMAs.
