Southwest Airlines and Movielink have launched a co-branded movie downloading service on the Web.

The co-branded site will offer unique discounts for Southwest customers who book travel via the Internet.

Movielink's first partnership with an airline doesn't come as a big surprise, considering that many of its customers are business travelers.

Movielink also has similar, co-branding relationships with Charter Communications and Time Warner Cable.

Movielink is a joint venture of MGM Studios, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Studios. Depending on the title, Movielink downloads sell for between $1.99 and $4.99.
