Net2Phone has inked IP telephony partnership deals with three members of Altice One: Coditel Luxembourg, Coditel Belgium and France's Est Videocommunication.

Those operators, which represent franchises passing 520,00 homes, plan to offer VoIP sometime in the fourth quarter of 2004.

Net2Phone also unveiled a warrant incentive program that enables "selected" cable operator customers to own part of the VoIP firm under a warrant purchase plan. The Net2Phone board has reserved up to 5 million shares for the new plan. Altice One is among the first to join the program.

The warrant purchase plan "also gives us the opportunity to share in Net2Phone's success as it delivers its compelling offer to other operators in Europe and elsewhere," said Altice One CEO Patrick Drahi, in a release.
