WOW! Internet and Cable Service has deployed software from Mentis Broadband Solutions to provide flow-through provisioning for the overbuilder's IP telephony service.

Under the deal, which followed a four-month integration, WOW! has deployed the Mentis Transaction Management Interface-Voice (TMI-V) platform, which handles backoffice order management and provisioning workflow between WOW's CLEC partner (Sprint Corp.) and the operator's billing/customer care vendor (CSG Systems).

WOW! selected Mentis because of the vendor's "understanding of how to integrate to our legacy billing and customer care system," said WOW! VP of Operational Support Systems Manny Miera, in a statement.

Mentis said its TMI-V product is its first to be certified by CSG for handling orders through the Service Order Distribution Interface (SODI), a backoffice API that accompanies CSG's new voice module for its Advanced Convergent Platform for Voice (ACP-V).
