Qwest expands business VoIP footprint

Qwest Communications International has extended business-class VoIP services to an additional 10 markets.

The RBOC's "OneFlex" service is now available in Albuquerque, N.M.; Billings, Mont.; Bismarck, N.D., Casper, Wyo.; Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Neb.; Portland, Ore.; Salt Lake City, Utah; Seattle, Wash.; and Sioux Falls, S.D.

Qwest launched the service in Boise, Denver, Minneapolis and Phoenix during the summer.

The company also outlined plans to launch OneFlex in several more large markets outside its traditional region by year-end, including Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Columbus (Ohio), Los Angeles, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Washington, D.C.
