RGB Networks has joined SeaChange International 's Certified Partner Program, a move that will result in the integration of RBG's technology with SeaChange MediaCluster video-on-demand platform.

RGB, a start-up based in San Mateo, Calif., is developing a family of "intelligent" video processors for cable and broadband network operators. The company's Video Intelligence Architecture (VIA) aims to beef up the video processing capabilities of applications ranging from VOD, high-definition television and ad insertion. SeaChange is RBG's first announced integration partner.

The companies said the combination will boost stream densities and lower costs.

The integration with SeaChange "will significantly enhance and improve the capabilities of the on-demand video delivery industry," claimed RGB President and CEO Adam Tom, in a release.
