TVN beams up VOD service extensions
TVN Entertainment will continue to beam over video-on-demand content for networks including Discovery Networks, Scripps Networks, Sundance, A&E Networks and Bloomberg TV with a set of service agreement extensions announced today.
Under the agreements, TVN's Adoniss platform will continue to provide the networks with content distribution services including encoding, asset management, site-specific metadata and multicast transport to cable operators' VOD networks.
"These renewals validate the reliability and reach of TVN's Adoniss platform," said Jim Riley, TVN's senior vice president of business development. "The industry's appetite for on-demand content continues to grow, and TVN meets that need by offering over 1,500 hours of quality on-demand television programming a month including major motion pictures, all premium networks, basic networks, adult, and TVN exclusive On Demand Network product."
